(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma is well represented on the pre-season All-Big 12 Conference teams.

The Sooners have five players on the pre-season team selected by the media, led by linebacker Rocky Calmus. Calmus is a first-team choice as linebacker and is the pick to win the conference Defensive Player of the Year Award.

O-U offensive lineman Frank Romero, defensive back Roy Williams, placekicker Tim Duncan and punter Jeff Ferguson are also pre-season first team choices.

Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch is the early choice as Offensive Player of the Year.

There are no Oklahoma State players on the pre-season teams.
