(Anadarko-AP) -- Most schools in Oklahoma are struggling financially, but an Anadarko school is seeing a construction boom.

Riverside Indian School is the nation's oldest federally run American Indian boarding school. It received 19-point-one million dollars in federal money last year.

Officials used part of the money to build a new four-point-two (m) million dollar gymnasium that features four classrooms, a weight room, storage areas and a dressing room.

That means the boys' and girls' basketball teams no longer have to play home games at Anadarko High School's gymnasium.

More construction is slated for next year, with nine-point-one million dollars going toward construction of a cafeteria, 12 classrooms and a facility management office.
