(Tulsa-AP) -- More than 200 households in southeast Oklahoma are nearing their 20th day without electricity, and state officials said today they're not sure when power will be restored.
A spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Department of Civil Emergency Management says all who are still in the dark are customers of rural electric cooperatives.
Michelann Ooten says the outages are in scattered locations and it may be difficult to restore power.
Meanwhile, four disaster recovery centers were opened today to help residents get help for storm-related losses. In addition, federal disaster food stamps will be distributed in 39 counties.
The recovery centers are located in Eufaula, McAlester, Idabel and Poteau.
