(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A state Commerce Department official says an eight day trade mission to Cuba will begin today.

International trade director Kevin Chambers says the Oklahoma delegation will be led by Russell Perry. Perry is the Oklahoma secretary for economic development and special affairs designate.

Chambers says new federal legislation allows U-S businesses to sell agricultural and medical goods and services to the communist country.
