(Manhattan, Kansas-AP) -- A lot of people didn't expect Oklahoma to beat Kansas State, but O-U coach Bob Stoops isn't one of them.
He credited his quarterback Josh Heupel for being exceptional during the game, hitting 29 of 37 passes for 374 yards and two touchdowns. O-U won 41-31...
... The win meant a big jump up the A-P poll for the Sooners.
Oklahoma is ranked third in the country, while Kansas State fell from Second to Tenth. The six-and-oh Sooners even got four first-place votes, though Nebraska still held onto Number One firmly. The Cornhuskers are also six-and-oh and travel to Norman after Oklahoma has a bye this week.
