(Tulsa-AP) -- Wichita broke a three-all tie in the 12th inning to defeat Tulsa 4-to-3 in the Texas League. The Wranglers opened scoring in the fourth inning of Sunday's contest. David Ullery doubled to left field to drive in Jeremy Dodson. Later in the inning, Rod Metzler singled to left field to drive in Ullery.

Wichita scored its third run in the fifth inning with a double by Pat Hallmark that drove in Joe Caruso. The Drillers finally got on the scoreboard in the sixth inning. The game went into extra innings after Tulsa tied it in the eight with a two-run homer by Ryan Lane. Caruso's homerun in the 12th gave the Wranglers the margin of victory.
