(Tulsa-AP) -- The University of Tulsa basketball team is hoping its Elite Eight appearance in the N-C-A-A Tournament last season will pay off big. Like six-foot-ten big.
That's the height of Albanian native Ermal Kuqo, whom Tulsa officials are trying to coax away from Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.
Kuqo is regarded as one of the top junior college players in the country. He is scheduled to arrive in Tulsa today for a two-day campus visit.
He's already visited Oklahoma, Arizona, Auburn and Dayton. His junior college coach Chris Beard says he'll probably choose between Tulsa, Dayton and Auburn.
But Beard says Kansas State is making a late push for the center before his decision is to be announced next week.
