CACHE, Okla. (AP) -- A school bus collided with a car carrying two high school students Thursday, killing both of the teenagers, police said.
They were identified by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as 17-year-old Tyson Howard Bishop of Lawton, who was driving, and Brad Bruce, also 17, of Cache.
The two high school seniors were in a car that pulled out of a rural residential driveway east of the city of Cache, about 10 miles west of Lawton, and was broadsided by the bus.
Preston Smith, 56, of Cache, the driver of the Cache School District bus, was treated and released from a hospital after the accident.
