OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An administrative law judge presents a detailed 376-page recommendation on Public Service Company of Oklahoma's proposed $47.9 million rate increase request Wednesday. Officials with the Corporation Commission and PSO say it will take several days to decipher the report and understand what it means.
PSO wants the increase to pay for more than $2 billion dollars in new generation and distribution facilities.
Attorney General Drew Edmondson has filed papers opposing the rate increase and recommends a $17.4 million reduction in rates.
Corporation Commission staff suggests a $9.1 million rate decrease.
PSO, Edmondson and other parties in the case have until Tuesday to respond to the the law judge's recommendation.
Final arguments in the case are scheduled June 13th.
