A major groundbreaking for the Tulsa Ballet Theater. City officials turned the dirt on the second phase of a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation project for the Tulsa Ballet.

The current phase of construction includes new studios and office space for the ballet's center for dance education. "We didn't quite anticipate such a great response, I mean we knew that this school would be successful but we never thought it would reach 320 students in just four years," says Marcello Angelini with Tulsa Ballet.

The third and final phase of construction will create a new administration wing and a 250-seat theater.
