Oklahoma law enforcement officers were honored in Tulsa Thursday. Tulsa Kids Coalition put on its 14th annual awards ceremony to honor officers and their efforts in traffic safety and saving lives.
This year, 150 officers were recognized. "When you hear their accomplishments of these officers today, you're just amazed at their leadership and their ability to do this job day after day to keep Oklahomans safe," said Mary Beth Ogle with the Tulsa Kids Coalition.
State Farm, St. Francis Hospital, Safe Kids, OSU Tulsa and MADD sponsor the annual event.
