STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State is canceling its season-opening baseball series against Hofstra because of winter weather in Oklahoma.

OSU says the scheduled Friday through Sunday games will not be rescheduled.

The Cowboys season opener will now be February 9th against Lamar in the Citrus Tournament in Edinburg, Texas, and the home opener will be February 27th against Dallas Baptist.
