CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) An offensive lineman from Shawnee is headed to Wyoming to play college football.

Brandon Self is a 6â€™3, 300-pound offensive guard from Shawnee High School. He says he committed to Wyoming after he made his official visit last weekend.

Self was a first team all-state, all-region and all-district as a senior. He also was named the offensive player of the year and offensive lineman of the year in his district.

Self says he made an unofficial visit to Texas Tech and also was recruited by Colorado State.

Self is the fourth high-school offensive lineman to commit to UW.

Wyoming has 18 verbal commitments for this year's class and four others already enrolled in school.
