TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ University of Tulsa defensive end Moton Hopkins is the Conference USA defensive player of the week after helping TU to a 24-to-23 win over Navy.

Hopkins had seven tackles for the Golden Hurricane and blocked an extra point attempt in overtime as TU held off the Midshipmen.

Tulsa's Nick Graham is credited with getting a hand on the ball as it was kicked and Hopkins was able to knock it down.
