The man who helped police solve the Precious Doe case is speaking out. Thurman McIntosh says he's glad his grandson Harrell Johnson and his wife Michelle, both of Muskogee, are behind bars.
The 81-year-old Muskogee resident was instrumental in helping authorities discover the identity of Erica Green. McIntosh says he called Kansas City, Missouri detectives 40 or 50 times, a year ago, but they didn't return his calls. "He did not believe my story when I first told him about it and I told him I guaranteed I know who murdered. Two crack heads can't get along together no matter who you are."
McIntosh says after several attempts he was able to get someone to look into his claims.
Michelle and Harrell Johnson now face second-degree murder charges.
