LOS ANGELES (AP) _ ``Cold Case'' star Danny Pino received his Valentine's Day gift just a day late when his wife, Lilly, gave birth to the couple's first child.

Luca Daniel Pino was born at 1:51 p.m. Wednesday at a Los Angeles hospital, said Pino's publicist, Carri McClure. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces (3.71 kilograms).

``Everybody is doing great and they're very excited,'' McClure said.

Pino plays Detective Scotty Valens on the CBS show.
