Drake has been releasing music since 2007, rising quickly through the music industry and going platinum three years later in 2010 with his first studio album Thank Me Later.
His meteoric rise makes it unsurprising that he dominated the last decade in terms of Spotify streams, taking the number 1 spot out of all the artists on the platform. Currently, Drake has a whopping 52 million monthly listeners.
With two smash albums in the last two years alone, Ariana Grande was the most streamed female artist from 2010 to 2019. Grande released her first album in 2013 and has since claimed accolades such as Time’s most influential people and Billboard’s Woman of the Year.
