A police chase ended in a crash Friday morning in Norman.

A man and a woman were detained after crashing near Imhoff Road and 24th Avenue SE.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers chased the vehicle as it drove east and westbound on State Highway 9.

Troopers said the chase started about 10 a.m. when a vehicle ran a stop sign and a red light.

The trooper tried to pull over the vehicle for reckless driving but the car did not pull over.

Speeds reportedly reached 110 mph. The chase lasted about 15 minutes.

The identities of the people in the vehicle have not been disclosed.
