OCPD Identifies Suspect In Confirmed NW OKC Homicide

The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed the identity of a man believed to be involved in a homicide Thursday morning.

Police responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

Authorities arrested 23-year-old Israel Pointer in the apartment where 39-year-old Courtney Deveraux was shot and killed.

Pointer was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
