Tulsa Police are asking you to be on alert for porch pirates as more people start leaving their homes to return to work.

Many people have been staying at home for the past several weeks, so they've been home to receive their deliveries right away.

But Tulsa Police said as more people go back to work and leave their homes, porch pirates are starting to come out.

TPD posted a video that shows a man stealing a package from a home near 61st Street and Kingston on Friday around 6 p.m.

The video showed a man grabbing a package and running to what appeared to be a blue PT Cruiser.

Tulsa Police are asking that you contact them if you know who this person is.

And if you're worried about porch pirates, there are a few things you can do.

You can have your packages delivered to your work, or if you're using Amazon, you can have those items put into Amazon lockers at places like Whole Foods.

You can also have your packages held at the post office for pickup.

Police are asking everyone to be vigilant and continue looking out for one another as more people leave their homes.
