Suspect Involved In Tulsa Murder Turns Himself In, Police Say

Tulsa police said a suspect was arrested in connection to a murder that took place May 19.

TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police said a suspect was arrested in connection to a murder that took place May 19.

Officers said they arrested 15-year-old Kanye Pettie, who they believe was involved in the murder of Reginald Phillips.

Pettie turned himself in shortly after a warrant was issued May 20, police said.

Officers said they received multiple calls of people shooting at each other near East 56th Street North and MLK Jr. Blvd. Police said a car drove away and Phillips fell onto the street a couple blocks away.

Officers said he was taken to a hospital and later died.
