Heather Berryhill shares a Baked Beans recipe.
·1 29 oz can of Bush’s Baked Beans
·1 16 oz can of Ranch Beans with Jalapeño
·1 8 oz can of Butter Beans
·1 small sweet yellow onion, diced
·1/2 log Owen’s sausage
·1 cup brown sugar
·3/4 cup BBQ sauce
·1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
·1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke
·1 teaspoon powdered mustard
·1 small green bell pepper, diced
·1 small red pepper, diced
DIRECTIONS
Brown sausage in a skillet. Add onions and brown together. In a large pot, mix all ingredients (except bell peppers) and bring to a boil. Add sausage & onions as well. Remove from heat. Do not over mix as it will make beans mushy. Pour contents into a large baking dish (a large foil pan works well for this as you can toss when finished). Stir in the raw, green and red bell peppers. Cook uncovered in a 350° oven for two hours
