An FBI investigation is underway and four Minnesota police officers have been fired following a street confrontation that left a 46-year-old man dead.

The video was posted to social media less than 24 hours after the arrest was caught on camera.

The cell phone video shows one of the officers with his knee on George Lloyd's neck for at least seven minutes.

In the video, you can hear bystanders pleading and urging the officers to use less force.

Within minutes, Floyd was unresponsive.

He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The officers said he matched the description of a suspect in a forgery case at a grocery store and that he was resisting arrest.

Investigators said the officers involved were wearing body cameras and they were activated at the time of the incident, so that video will be added to the investigation.
