A group painted the words "Black Lives Matter" on Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa Friday morning.

The mural starts near Greenwood and Archer.

The organizers said they started painting around 11 p.m. Thursday and wanted to have it done ahead of the Juneteenth commemoration.

The organizers also said the paint is non-toxic and will wash off the road.
