Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said a Pawnee man died after a 3-car crash in a construction zone Tuesday in Noble County.

Troopers said 68-year-old Dennis Southern was driving southbound on US Highway 177 near Morrison when he hit another car stopped by an ODOT flagman. Southerns car then went into oncoming traffic, where he was hit by a third car.

Southern was pronounced dead at the scene, OHP said.

According to the OHP report, the other two drivers were also hurt, but they refused treatment.

This is a developing story.
