Oklahoma FIT Gym is inviting any first responders out to participate in their “hero workout”. The number of sets or reps for each workout will honor Johnson in some way. Since the shooting happened at 3:23 in the morning, each participant will either run or row 3.23 miles. Johnson served 15 years, which is why they will do 15 rounds of the workout. Each person will do three reps of seven workout because the incident happened on 21st Street.  Oklahoma FIT Gym said any first responder, dispatcher, or military are welcome – and being a member of the gym isn’t required.

They also encourage anyone to donate to the FOP Benevolence Fund and everyone involved in the workout is asked to wear blue.

The class times are 5 a.m., 9 a.m., and 5 p.m.
