Stilwell Implements Mandatory Mask Policy

The City of Stilwell in Adair County has issued a mandatory face mask order that takes effect Wednesday night.

The order requires people to wear face masks in most settings other than their homes, or places where they’re able to maintain a safe distance.

It doesn't matter where you shop, whether that's Wal-Mart, or Dollar General, whether it's downtown or elsewhere, face masks will be required from now on, on orders from the Mayor.

Stilwell Mayor Jean Ann Wright said, “We're not trying to inhibit anyone, we're just trying to keep some people safe.”
