Former OU Football Coach John Blake Dies At Age 59

Former OU football coach John Blake died Thursday at the age of 59.

News 9 Sports Director Dean Blevins said Blake had a heart attack while taking a walk.

Blake was OU's head football coach from 1996 to 1998.

He also was the defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills in 2016.

Blake played at OU as a nose guard from 1979 to 1982.
