The state Democratic party called for an investigation of Senator Jim Inhofe.

The party claimed Inhofe is using his Senate office address in Tulsa to get personal mail and that he’s underreporting his actual worth on financial disclosure forms.

“Americans are asking for transparency,” said Alicia Andrews from the Oklahoma Democratic party. “Tell us what’s going on, don’t leave us in the dark. He’s been allowed to do this because he’s an institution. It’s time to question the institutions because the institutions are not serving us well.”

Inhofe’s campaign office responded by saying Inhofe is complying with financial reporting rules, and called this another "false attack." The state Republican party chairman said the allegations are an orchestrated election year political stunt.
