A Tulsa company called Virus Control Tulsa said it has found a creative way to fight germs.

Virus Control Tulsa LLC started a couple months by two friends who wanted to help fight against COVID-19, a disease that has impacted so many.

Chad Greer said they use a disinfectant fogger machine that can kill up to 140 known viruses and germs.

"Including COVID, SARS, flu,” Greer said.

Greer co-owns the business. He spent the morning killing viruses at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa.

He said the process generally takes about 20 minutes and doesn't leave any residue.

Spa Owner Teresa Goodnight said her business already follows CDC guidelines. However, this added precaution builds even more confidence with her customers.

"We are living through history right now with the pandemic, that we got shut down and I want to make sure that doesn't happen again,” Goodnight said.

Greer practices law but now, he and his businesses partner mostly dedicate their time to this new career.

"We actually both experienced symptoms we think of COVID, elevated temperature, slept 12 to 14 hours a day,” Greer said. “During that time, we saw friends and businesses closing, so we felt we had to help.”

Greer said he eventually wants to tackle big projects.
