McLoud High School will close Thursday, August 20 and remain closed for the rest of the week after a student tested positive for COVID-19, school officials said in a letter to parents Wednesday.
During the closure the building will be cleaned and sanitized, and classes will move to distance learning.
The district asks that parents and guardians keep a child home if they are experiencing the following COVID related symptoms:
McLoud Public Schools said it is working to remain transparent with parents and the community by notifying them immediately of any confirmed cases.
Regular classes are set to resume Monday, August 24.
