Tulsa Transit has officially launched a new app called “Go Pass” that lets customers buy bus tickets and plan their routes online.
Beginning Monday, riders can download the app and link their bank account to get started.
Tulsa Transit’s Marking Coordinator Drew Myers says this has been in the works for over a year and they are so happy to bring this app to the table during a time when being touch-free is so important.
Through Go Pass, riders can buy tickets, look up various routes and bus stops, and check arrival/departure times to plan accordingly.
"This is one of those features that a lot of transit agencies in America has and we are just glad to get on board with it and offer an easier option for people,” Myers says. “It's a lot more convenient, you just have to turn your phone and show the driver and you can get on the bus.”
For those who may not have a bank account, there will soon be an alternative option to load money onto the app through places like Family Dollar. That option is not available at this time.
