The man accused of shooting and killing Sgt. Craig Johnson and shooting Officer Aurash Zarkeshan has been in court Wednesday for his preliminary hearing.
So far the state called four witnesses to the stand, including the first officer on scene after the shooting, and three detectives who collected evidence. The judge will be watching both the dash cam and body cam videos of the June 29th incident. The judge is expected to give her ruling on if there is probable cause in the case and if the crimes committed were felony crimes when the hearing reconvenes.

Ware’s attorney, Kevin Adams says he believes the truth is in the body cam and dash cam. He says Sgt. Johnson kicked Ware twice during the incident and says Ware was yelling “help me” the whole time.
Tulsa District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler says Adams is not a witness in this case and shouldn’t act like it. Kunzweiler says he and his team are going to do their job in the courtroom, not in front of the media.
