A group at Oklahoma State University made care packages for students isolated or in quarantine due to COVID-19.

Students living on campus who test positive have to isolate for 10 days. Students who come into contact with someone who tests positive have to quarantine for 14 days.

To help students get through that time, a group at OSU gave students packages filled with soup, crackers, candy and encouraging messages.

“We just want to be able to help them,” Leon McClinton said. “Because we know being in this situation it can get kind of lonely, especially for our first-year students. So, we want to do everything we can to make them feel part of the campus community."

The group said a little comfort can go a long way.
