Miami Public School Moves To Virtual Learning On Thursday After Inmates Escape County Jail

Miami Public Schools officials have announced that the district will move to virtual learning on Thursday after two inmates escaped from the county jail.

Officials made the announcement early Thursday morning after Ottawa county sheriffs announced that a manhunt was underway for two inmates who escaped from Ottawa County Jail.

MPS said the decision was made in an effort to ensure the safety of student and staff.
