Tulsa Police are searching for two robbers who they said went into a couple’s home and pointed guns at them, then took their car.
They said the robbers demanded cash before stealing the couple’s car. Tulsa Police are calling this a random attack.
The victim told police they heard the doorbell, he opened the door, and the next thing he knew, there was a gun pointed right in his face. They said one of the robbers was wearing a mask which covered the lower part of his face.
"The suspects escorted him back into the house. At this point I believe the second suspect followed them in and came in also and they put the wife on the ground at gun point,” Tulsa Police Officer Danny Bean said.
The victim told police he watched the robbers drive away in his car.
"It could be a case of somebody trying to take advantage of somebody,” Bean said. “May have seen them in the neighborhood and thought it would be an easy rob.”
Officers said the victims weren’t hurt but said someone could have easily ended up dead.
“Especially with a gun and pointing it at someone’s head, there's no telling how that incident can go and how quickly that can wind up bad,” Bean said. “You know they are dangerous, and you know they are willing to do that. They are willing to put everyone's life at risk for a few bucks and a stolen car they aren't going to have very long."
Police said these two people are dangerous and they want to find them and arrest them.
