Tulsa Symphony Orchestra announced the final performances for its winter season on Wednesday.
They say the concerts for November and will highlight works that range from women composers Joan Tower and Jessie Montgomery; to Ravel, Haydn, Tchaikovsky and many others. Several shows in November and December had to canceled because of the pandemic but TSO says they are looking forward to helping to enhance the arts and quality of life for the community.
"Music is especially important during these challenging times, and our Orchestra has innovated in a variety of ways to serve the Greater Tulsa community. We gained national attention for our open-air performances this fall, and as we move indoors for the winter season, we're offering our concerts on several media platforms to provide easy access to the power of music," said Executive Director of Tulsa Symphony Keith C. Elder.
November 20
7:30 pm "Fridays in the Loft," originally scheduled at the Fly Loft, will now take place at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. The performance will feature music for string quartet and percussion ensemble. First Presbyterian Church is located at 709 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119
November 28
