Okmulgee Sheriff's Office Asks For Help In Search For Man Who Shot At Deputy

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in identifying a man that they say, shot at a deputy late on Monday night. Officers have shared photos of Dustin Marris, the man allegedly involved in the shooting. According to the Sheriff's office, Marris shot at a deputy during a chase around 10:45 p.m. on Monday just north of Henryetta. The deputy was not hit by gunfire.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in identifying a man that they say, shot at a deputy during a chase late on Monday night.

Officers have shared photos of Dustin Marris, the man allegedly involved in the shooting. According to the Sheriff's office, Marris shot at a deputy during a chase around 10:45 p.m. on Monday just north of Henryetta. The deputy was not hit by gunfire.

Officials said that Marris eventually crashed his car during the chase before running away on foot.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Okmulgee Sheriff's Office.
