Since March of 2020 many schools, city councils and other public bodies have been able to meet virtually, however, they will have to go back to in-person meetings starting next week.
Senate Bill 661 amended the Open Meetings Act and let public bodies meet virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, however that bill expires on Sunday.

According to Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, his administration can not extend an executive order, so groups will have to go back to the state's open meeting rules the same way they were before the pandemic began.
