Suspect In Custody After Leading Police On Chase In Stolen Vehicle On I-35

A woman was taken into custody Thursday night after leading authorities in a brief pursuit on Interstate 35.

According to police, the woman was driving a stolen vehicle out of Purcell. Authorities received a tip that the vehicle was located at a strip club in Valley Brook.

When authorities located the vehicle, a pursuit was initiated. Valley Brook and Oklahoma City officers pursued the vehicle until the woman hit another car and crashed on northbound I-35 at Southeast 59th Street.

Authorities said the suspects had warrants for another stolen vehicle. She has not been identified at this time.  

There were no injuries.
