On Wednesday, laptops, desktop computers, iPad minis and projectors will all be up for grabs for no more than $10 at the Union Public Schools Curbside Surplus Computer Sale.
Union Public School will be selling 200 iPad minis without charges for $10 each. The district will also be selling 400 laptops, 150 desktop computers and 175 projectors for only $5.
The sale will take place on Wednesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Union Multipurpose Activity Center near East 71st Street and South Mingo Road.
The sale will be happening curbside to keep everyone safe due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers must stay in their car and the devices will be brought out to them.
Each car can purchase one iPad and a maximum of two devices in total.
Only cash and credit cards will be accepted.
According to the district, all devices are in working order however, longevity is not guaranteed and all devices are being sold "as-is."
