Local Businesses Partner To Give Back To Students At Robertson Elementary

Two local businesses wanted to make sure Green Country students have what they need during the holiday season.

Carbondale Assembly and TD Williamson worked with Robertson Elementary to create a drive-thru event for families to collect shoes, a book and a goodie bag for each student.

“We are a really resilient community we help each other and show up for each other when we need it,” Chloe Beachy of Robertson Elementary said. “This is just an example of that everyone looking out for each other making sure that we make it through the holidays."

The donation drive has been a staple in the community for over 15 years.
