Clients with developmental disabilities at A New Leaf in Broken Arrow are getting ready for Valentine's Day rose deliveries.

"Valentines is coming up and roses are ready," said Jessica, A New Leaf Client.

Valentine's Day is usually a busy time for the nonprofit.

"We were impacted by the pandemic. There are so many things we are doing to just creatively keep our programs and keep our outreach going," said Amanda Kliner with A New Leaf. "We are switching gears a little bit and offering a small, half dozen arrangements and then some smaller little desk arrangements too."

A New Leaf works with people who have developmental disabilities by giving them resources and support to be as independent as possible.

"I get to work with my special friends that I love so much," said Maxine, A New Leaf Client.

"It is really exciting for all of us just to be a part of something so positive. There is really no stopping them,” said Kliner.

Valentine's Day sales will be an opportunity for these hardworking clients to be together and to do something they love.
