Veteran Salute: Jerry Ring

We continue to salute the men and women who served our country.

On Feb. 1, we're recognizing Army veteran Jerry Ring.

Jerry served in the Army airborne division during the Korean War.

After the war, he settled down to raise a family but never forgot his fellow servicemen.

When the 82nd Airborne Association founded organizations on a state level, he stepped up and helped lead the group for his fellow Okies.

When he's not helping his fellow veterans, he's ferrying his grandkids and great-grandkids all across town.

He's a great man and hasn't slowed down a bit.
