The Muskogee County District Attorney said his office is working around the clock to get justice for the families of a man and five kids murdered just over two weeks ago.

On Friday, the District Attorney prosecuting the case said he doesn't want some details released because he wants to protect the family.

"We are talking children ages ranging from just one year old to nine, have you ever seen anything like this in your career?" News on 6 asked.

"No," said Muskogee County District Attoeny Orvil Loge. "Any time you have facts such as these and charges like this, and it involves minor children, it's going to get lots of attention, and you know the family is devastated.

News on 6 sat down with Loge for his first one-on-one interview since the six people were shot and killed on February 2. Jarron Pridgeon is charged with killing his younger brother Javarion Lee, as well as five children, three who were his own kids.

Loge said this is easily one of the biggest cases in his career and his team is working around the clock.

"It grips a community, and you know that the community suffers, and you know that they just want to know that everything is going to be okay," Loge said.

Loge said he'll need months to prepare for the next phase of the case, so he has asked the court not to release the 911 call Pridgeon made or police body camera video of the scene.

"Those body cams will contain graphic detail that we just don't want to get out right now," Loge said, "We thought it was important for our case, the defendant's case, and for the protection of our community and our family that those items are not released as this time. That will be in effect until June 4."

The judge will rule on whether the call and video will be released June 4. Loge said his focus right now is helping and supporting the victims.

"We have to be on top of it and be ready and that's what we do," Loge promised.

Jarron Pridgeon's lawyer also asked the court for more time to review Pridgeon's mental health.
