Veteran Salute: Larry Stevenson

We are continuing to salute the men and women who served our country.

On Feb. 22, we want to salute Army and Coast Guard veteran Larry Stevenson.

Larry served two tours in Vietnam with the Army and was awarded nearly two dozen honors including two Purple Hearts.

He also received 18 air medals.

He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 1988.

Larry passed away nearly one year ago from stage 4 lung cancer, but his nominator said he will always be their hero.
