Man Taken To Hospital After NE OKC Shooting; Suspect On The Run

Police said a man was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after being shot in northeast Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, the shooting was near Northeast 36th Street and North Hiwassee Road.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a silver Chevrolet.

The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
