NW OKC Home Destroyed In Overnight Fire

Firefighters said a northwest Oklahoma City home is a total loss after an overnight house fire.

According to authorities, the fire was near Northwest 178th Street and North Western Avenue.

No one was home during the time of the fire. However, next-door neighbors evacuated themselves after hearing flames bust out windows.

"Air 1 Reported This as a fully involved home fire," said OKC Fire Department Batallion Chief, Brad Smith. "When these houses are so close together it can turn into a pretty graphic spread"

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire.
