Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of robbing several businesses and each time, he tied up the employees and held them at gunpoint.

This investigation began in January and now Jerome Hall is behind bars.

Robbery Detectives said in just about every robbery, the suspect walked in the store with a gun, zip tied the employees’ hands then shut off the lights. They said surveillance video and the suspect's car were key pieces of evidence.

Detectives said Hall robbed four different stores in two weeks in January. They said he stole money, merchandise and even cigarettes.

"He'd go in with a gun, at gun point, overpower the clerk, zip tie, and on some of them shut the lights off on the business while items were taken,” said Lieutenant Justin Ritter with the Tulsa Police Robbery Unit.

Detectives said because every robbery had the same MO (characteristics), they believed they were all being committed by the same person. Then the robberies stopped for two months, until three weeks ago, when someone robbed a dispensary and the robber did the exact same thing as before, detectives said, but this time he had a partner.

"I don't know why he hit again in April, but he did and fortunately it was beneficial for us,” said Ritter.

Detectives said they tied Hall to the robberies from evidence found in his car and home.

"It was a matter of time and a lot of effort on the detectives in this unit’s part. It was four months of working this case, just old-fashioned police work,” said Ritter.

Detectives say these were brazen attacks and they’re thankful no one was hurt.

“It's a relief to get him off the street. Like I said, it's good for these guys. It’s a good solve to know that sticking with these things, it just shows we can knock it out,” said Ritter.

Records show Hall has spent time in prison since 2006 for drugs and using a weapon during a felony. He is currently on probation.
