Oklahoma State announced that they will play Alabama in back-to-back seasons in 2028 and 2029.
The home-and-home series will see the Cowboys will host the Crimson Tide in Stillwater on September 23 of 2028 before traveling down to Tuscaloosa on September 15 of 2029. Oklahoma State and Alabama have squared off on the gridiron once before in 2006 when the Cowboys beat Alabama 34-31 at the Independence Bowl.
Officials with Alabama said they look forward to facing OSU.
“This series with Oklahoma State continues to show our commitment to solidifying quality home-and-home matchups for our future football schedules,” said Alabama Director of Athletics Greg Byrne. “We look forward to visiting Stillwater in 2028 and welcoming the Cowboys to Tuscaloosa the following year.”
The two teams have only met once before - in the 2006 Independence Bowl - and the Cowboys came away with a 34-31 win. Check out the highlights below.
